Solar activity
Very Low
In the past 24 hours, solar activity was at very low levels, without any C-class solar flares or larger produced on the visible disk. No new active region was numbered. There are currently 5 active regions on the visible disk. The Region 14105 is small in size, but with a relatively complex βγ magnetic configuration.
Geomagnetic field
Quiet
In the past 24 hours, the geomagnetic field was at active levels for 6 hours. Quiet to unsettled conditions were reported throughout the remainder of the summary period. The solar wind speed fluctuated around 310 km/s. Bt decreased from 16 nT to 4 nT, and Bz fluctuated between -9 nT and 13 nT. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux at geosynchronous orbit was at the background levels. The greater than 2 MeV electron flux at geosynchronous orbit remained at moderate levels.
Ionosphere
Quiet
In the past 24 hours, the ionosphere was at quiet levels in the most parts of China.
