User Rank

Registered users with real name verification for accessing the website are classified into two ranks: Noraml users and Upgraded users. The daily quota for data access varies with different user ranks.

User Registration

According to the requirements of the China Meteorological Administration, please fill out the " FengYun Satellite Data Requirement Form" for personal registration in order to download all data published on the FENGYUN Satellite Data Service.

Please send the completed form to this email.

After registration, the information you filled in will be reviewed, and the review is usually completed within 7 working days.

Product Selection

Select the satellite, instrument and product to query the data.

Enter in the text boxes of "Start Date" and "End Date", or choose in the calendar.

The latitude and longitude can be manually edited through the editing boxes and applied then by clicking the "Refresh" button.

When selecting FY-4B satellite GHI L1 data, you can enter coordinates via row and column numbers.

When selecting FY-4C satellite AGRI L1 data, you can enter coordinates via row and column numbers.

When selecting FY-4C satellite AGRI L1 data, you can select slice num via row and column numbers.

In the “File List”, choose a file to view its metadata and quick view image, and select some/all of them to add to your shopping cart.

In the "My Cart" page, you can see your upper limit of the data downloads of the day, the remaining quota of the day, the number of files in the current shopping cart, file size and other information.

When you place an order, the ordered files will be retrieved for download later. Each order has a unique ID which is used to identify the order.

You can view the detailed order status, including the whole order completion progress, the completion status of each data file, the order effective date, etc.

You can use an FTP tool to visit the FTP site with the user name and password which can be found in the order information.
